WHO am i?

A person who is not as witty as they think they are, but still puts in the effort to be so. Cannot easily accept compliments, so usually offers up “I try” while sending off some double-thumbs-up or finger guns. Has a dark sense of humor but instead of concealing it like normal professionals, tends to let it spill out like ink from an upturned inkwell.

Studied political science and international relations throughout undergrad (College of DuPage and North Central College) and included creative writing along the way. Has been a fiction writer since middle school days, but later expanded to creative non-fiction and writing in a professional capacity as a freelancer.

Currently obsessed with:

-acai smoothie bowls

-bubble tea

-anything dog-related

-yin yoga

-cocktails with herbs in them

-reading about entrepreneurs, specifically women

-finding specific places I’ve visited on Google Maps

-designing bathrooms on interior design websites

-elderflower flavored sparkling water

-making lists

-creating goals and accomplishing them

Overall, there’s a lot of excitement behind finally putting together a website to showcase a variety of creative pursuits. It’s a very new process, and even though a “niche” has not been chosen yet, this website is an exercise to branch out of the usual routine and expand web skills and experience. If a niche is discovered along the way, then so be it. If not, this is a pretty unique experiment all on its own.
